Our beaches are poisonous to swim in with bacteria, viruses, and industrial and hospital sewage. Our beach waters have been closed for months on end. Enough is enough- now it may be affecting our drinking water, too. Demand action NOW from Governor Newsom and Congress.

Who has ever gotten ill from surfing or swimming in IB or Coronado? Have their health professional call the CDC hotline at 800-CDC-
INFO (800-232-4636) to report water-borne beach illnesses to escalate this public health problem. If enough persons contact the CDC, they will declare a public health emergency and involve the World Health Organization as it involves multiple countries (the United States and Mexico).
